Pro Weather is simple: you start on a **free 14-day trial** with the full
feature set, then continue on **Pro** for **€5,99/month** or **€59/year** (save
~18%). Billing is **per site**. Each site you create has its own plan, so you can
run as many as you like and pay only for the ones you keep online.

## The free trial

Creating your first site starts a 14-day trial with **every Pro feature
unlocked** (except custom domains and hiding the "Powered by Pro Weather"
footer, which are Pro-only). **No credit card
required.** It's the full product, so you can build and publish your site
before deciding to subscribe.

The trial belongs to your **account**: it starts once, with your first site,
and any other sites you create share the same trial window.

## What Pro includes

Subscribing to Pro keeps your site live and unlocks:

- Historic charts and a permanent data archive
- Almanac, records and the wind rose
- Email alerts and the monthly summary email
- Custom domain with automatic SSL
- All languages, units and Google Analytics
- Removing Pro Weather branding
- 10-minute live refresh

## Upgrading

1. Open your site and go to **Billing**.
2. Pick **monthly (€5,99)** or **yearly (€59, save ~18%)**, choose **Subscribe
   this site to Pro** and complete checkout.
3. Pro features stay unlocked as soon as payment succeeds.

Payments are handled securely by **Stripe**, and Pro Weather never stores your
card details.

> **Already paying for Pro?**

  If you have a Pro subscription that isn't attached to any site (for example,
  one kept from a deleted site), the Billing page offers **Use my existing Pro
  subscription** so you can reuse it here at no extra cost.

## Managing your subscription

From **Billing**, choose **Manage billing** to open the Stripe customer portal,
where you can:

- **Update your payment method**: change the card on file.
- **View invoices**: download past receipts.
- **Change or cancel** your subscription.

To stop a subscription, choose **Cancel subscription**. Cancelling takes effect
at the **end of the current billing period**. Your site stays on Pro until then,
and you can choose **Resume subscription** any time before it ends.

## What happens if my trial ends or I cancel?

If your trial ends or your plan lapses without an active Pro subscription, your
public site shows a **"coming soon"** page instead of going live. **Your data is
kept.** Subscribe to Pro and your site, history and records come straight back.

> **Tip**
>
  Deleting a site is different from cancelling. If you delete a site but keep a
  paid subscription, that subscription stays on your account and can be reused for
  another site.
