See your visitors

A built-in, cookie-free visitor count for your weather site, with an optional counter in your public footer.

Every published site counts its own visitors, with nothing to install and no cookie banner needed. For pages, countries and referrers, you can also add Google Analytics.

See your numbers

Open your site and go to Sharing → Analytics. You see visitors and page views for the last 30 days and all time, plus a bar chart of visitors per day.

Show the counter on your site

Open your site and go to Website → Design → Extras.
Under Visitors, turn on Show "visitors today · total" in the footer.
Choose Save.

Your footer then shows a line like "38 visitors today · 12,847 total", in your site language. Turning it off only hides the line; counting continues.

What gets counted

Visitors are counted once per day. Someone who comes back tomorrow counts again, so the all-time figure is total daily visits.
Page views count every load, including reloads.
Known bots and crawlers are left out, so the count is lower than a raw server log.
Days run midnight to midnight UTC. Today's bar fills in as the day goes.
Your own visits count too.

Privacy

No cookies and nothing stored in the visitor's browser.
No IP addresses are kept. Visitors are told apart within a day by a hash with a salt that is replaced every day, so nobody can be traced or linked across days.
All that is stored is two numbers per site per day: visitors and page views.

Counter not showing?

Check the switch is on and saved.
Check the site is published. A site showing "Coming soon" counts nothing.
Your ad blocker may hide the line for you. Other visitors still see it and are still counted.
