Account settings
Change your email or password, export your data, or delete a site or your account.
You manage your account from Account settings in the dashboard, and each site from its own settings.
Change your email address
- Open Account settings.
- Enter your current password and your new email, then choose Change email.
Your email is how you sign in and where billing, alerts and account notices are sent. As a safety measure, a notification is sent to your old address when the change goes through.
Change your password
- Open Account settings.
- Enter your current password and the new one, then choose Change password.
For your security, changing your password signs you out on any other devices, and a confirmation email is sent to your address — if you ever get one you didn't trigger, reply to it straight away.
Forgot your password?
Use "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page. Enter your email and, if an account exists for it, you'll receive a link to set a new password.
Emails we send
Pro Weather only sends account and product email: sign-in, security and billing notices, the weather alerts you set up, and the monthly station summary for Pro subscribers.
Export your data
Before deleting anything — or just for your own records — you can take a copy. On a site's Settings page you can download everything the site has collected:
- Observations (CSV): every archived reading — temperature, humidity, wind, rain, pressure, solar, UV and air quality.
- Wind samples (CSV): the fine-grained wind data behind the wind rose.
Every value is included in both metric and imperial columns, so the export is useful whatever you do with it next.
Delete a site
To take a single site offline for good:
- Open the site in the dashboard and go to Settings.
- In the danger zone, choose to delete the site and confirm by typing its subdomain.
The site and its data are removed and its address is freed up. If the site had a paid subscription, that subscription stays on your account and can be reused for another site.
Delete your account
Deleting your account removes all of your sites and their data and cancels your billing immediately — including any spare subscriptions. In Account settings, open the danger zone and choose Delete account, then confirm by typing DELETE and your password.
Deleting is permanent
Deleting a site or your account can't be undone. Site data and history are removed for good, so export anything you want to keep first.
