Station health
How Pro Weather tells you whether your hardware is delivering: the dashboard health card, the optional Station health tab on your site, and the alerts.
A station that has quietly stopped reporting can look, on the public page, much like one that is working. Station health tells the two apart.
On your dashboard
A site's Overview shows a Station health card for every station, with a status badge:

| Online | The last reading arrived within 2.5 reporting intervals (at least 20 minutes) |
| Delayed | Later than that, but within six intervals (at least an hour) |
| Offline | Nothing for longer than six intervals |
| No data | The station has never delivered a reading |
The reporting interval is measured from your archive, so a station uploading every 15 minutes is judged against 15 minutes and one posting every minute against one minute.
The card also shows:
- Last reading: how long ago the newest reading arrived.
- 24h delivery: the share of expected readings that landed in the last 24 hours, and how many.
- Expected interval and the largest 24h gap.
- Battery (percentage or a low-battery flag), reception and signal, when the hardware reports them.
- Console figures such as supply, battery and solar panel voltage, network signal, station and link uptime, and on a relayed Davis console the network, CRC, resync and missed-packet counters.
- Active sensor groups, so you can see the soil probes or lightning detector are recognised.
Figures your hardware does not report are left out rather than shown as a dash.
On your public site
Turn on Publish station health under Homepage → Display options → Public data to add a Station health tab for visitors. New sites start with it on. Your dashboard always shows the figures either way.
The tab shows a status (Online, Late or Offline), the last reading and reporting interval, completeness over the last 24 hours, the largest gap, and each battery, signal, voltage and uptime figure your station supplies. Missing figures are hidden, so quiet hardware never looks faulty.
Alerts
Three station health alerts watch these figures for you:
- Station data older than a number of minutes: the one to set on every site.
- Station battery below a percentage, for hardware that reports one.
- Station reception below a percentage, for Davis hardware that reports it.
They are the only alerts still checked once a station stops reporting, since a weather threshold checked against an old reading would mean nothing. Set While it lasts on the data-age alert to be reminded until the station is back.
